Course objectives
Training for “Starlight Astronomical Monitors”, specialised in leading groups at night and during the day, to help visitors both enjoy nature and enrich their knowledge of the universe through the dissemination of information, either with the naked eye or through simple observation instruments, and to perceive that nature and the universe are one and the same reality as we humans experience.
Make known, in practical fashion, the professional opportunities that astrotourism offers, the range and unique nature of companies involved in this niche, how to develop this innovative product and the best way to promote it.

SELECTION CRITERIA
Preference in the registration process will be given to tourism sector employees within the Guadalajara Skies Reserve geographical area in the following order: ecotourism companies, active tourism companies, tour guides/local tourist information agents, regulated accommodation and travel agencies.
Priority will be given to companies affiliated with the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism (in the Molina-Alto Tajo area) and the System for the Recognition of Nature Tourism Sustainability in the Sierra de Ayllon ZEC-ZEPA (Special Conservation Areas and Special Protection Areas for Birds).
If the course has not been filled in the first section, it will be opened to employees in the wider tourism industry in the geographical area of Guadalajara province (maximum 1 person per company).
If places remain available, registration will be opened to residents in the Guadalajara Skies Starlight Reserve geographical area (a valid census certificate must be attached to the application).
In any case, registrations will follow the strict entry order for each category and considering the COVER LETTER to perform the training.
